Pilgrim Shells

Pilgrim shells are fascinating. Their biology and their cultural significance. Using my collection as reference, I made sketches and then a drawing with coloured pencils. I sprayed with an old fixative. Result: blotches all over the big drawing. Art work ruined. Back to the beginning!
